Fishing During Good and Bad Weather

Fishing During Good and Bad Weather

Most people that go bass fishing think that the best time to fish is either in the morning or in the evening. Now this is fine and dandy for those of us who like to fish in the evening, but you should consider making one simple addition to your fishing routine. Yes, you read that right, the best time to fish is two hours before and two hours after the sunrise. Many people simply go out and fish two hours before and two hours after the sunrise. For instance, you can go bass fishing at two in the morning or two in the evening and catch some nice bass.

The reason that you should fish two hours before sunrise and two hours after sunrise is because bass fish are in this time period very active. They are feeding at this time and can be quite a “chase” for the casual fisherman. Bass fishing techniques tend to change when the day is dark or light depending on whether you fish in the shallow or deep waters, but the best way to fish depends on the times you fish.

When the weather is cloudy you can fish very shallow. Fish can be located near brush, rocks or docks, even inside tire treads. Deep waters tend to be best during early spring or late fall months. When the weather is sunny, fish can be found on the surface or found in overgrown areas. When the sky is totally overcast you can fish anywhere. As for fish, find them in the brush or rocks near the docks and near the docks themselves. Fish can be found around the tires and treads as well. As a matter of fact, in extremely cloudy days find the fish around the docks, as the fish need cover and are more likely to be looking for food.
